After several popular live shows the group released their debut CD Schwang in December 1999. Recorded over 4 weekends at the Cheese Factory and produced by Dave Palmer, Sam Moody and engineer Kim Webster, Schwang received critical acclaim for its powerful blend of Soul, Jazz and Funk styles.

Released in May 2005, Down on the Dancefloor saw Goose return for its second studio album with 15 songs designed for their live shows' dancefloor. This album reflects the bands Funk and Rock influences complimenting the jazz tinged debut Schwang.
